Job Description
Client Service Associate The Client Service Associate assists in producing and delivering periodic investment reports to clients by collecting and documenting report requirements from various internal departments and supporting the creation and management of new report templates. Working under close supervision, this job will also partner closely with teams in product, distribution, operations, technology, shareholder services and others (including 3rd Party Transfer Agents and Fund Administrators) to build the client servicing capabilities required to deliver an outstanding client experience to intermediaries, advisors and end-investors in the organization's alternatives products. Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly investment performance reports and presentations to be delivered to clients, and ensures adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
Addresses client queries and requests regarding investment reports promptly and effectively, working with clients on inquiries and ensuring client expectations are met. Collaborates with accounting and third-party fund administrators to ensure the execution of investor activity and reporting obligations for third-party private funds and tracking until completion. Supports the completion of due diligence and client questionnaires, and collaborates with team members to gather report requirements from internal departments.
Participates in the design and creation of new report templates to provide quality control for delivered reports. Assists in performing data validations and resolving data discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of client reports. Understands enterprise level data flows across all firm-wide systems, impacting client reporting.
Develops industry and investment knowledge across traditional and alternative investment products to apply accurate information in reports. Assists with investment data consolidation to provide reports to clients in a timely manner.
