Business Analyst

Job Title: Market Risk & Controls Analyst (Business Analyst – Risk) Location: Pune Job Overview: We are looking for a Market Risk & Controls Analyst with strong analytical capabilities and exposure to financial markets. This role sits at the intersection of Risk Management and Business Analysis , requiring a candidate who can interpret data, evaluate controls, and translate insights into meaningful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and support Market Risk , Counterparty Credit Risk , and Product Control processes.

Analyze risk data and generate insights to support business and control decisions. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable risk and control improvements. Design, review, and enhance control frameworks within a trading/markets environment.

Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and recommend mitigation strategies. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for risk monitoring and governance. Communicate findings clearly and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk, operations, and technology. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in Market Risk / Counterparty Credit Risk / Product Control / Risk Analytics . Strong understanding of financial markets and trading products.

Good exposure to data analysis and business analysis techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level). Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau , or other analytics/visualization tools is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights in a structured manner. Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.

Preferred Profile: Candidates with a blend of Risk + Data + Business Analysis experience. Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical/data teams. Experience in banking, financial services, or trading environments preferred. .

Skillset Required: Market Risk, Credit Risk, Financial Instruments, knowledge of banking products, markets and relevant regulations
