Business Analyst

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12 month contract opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Ottawa, ON (Hybrid/1-2 days per week onsite) Key Tasks Workstream 1: New Salesforce System Review existing process flows and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to update the documentation to accurately capture the future state workflows. Create additional process flows as required.

Ensure associated business rules and other key artefacts are captured alongside the process maps and user stories. Identify gaps, risks, and areas requiring configuration, change management, or process improvement. Ensure processes are reflected in user stories to support platform configuration and development.

Augment and create new user stories as required. Develop additional project related artefacts to capture details not reflected in user stories. Attend demos to validate configuration matches user stories as expected.

Support testing lead with coordinating and executing testing cycles. Collaborate with Integration lead to analyze and document integrations Work with Change Lead by helping populate change impact logs and by helping populate training materials. Help determine changes required to operating model to support new PA after go-live.

Build strong working relationships with project team members and external vendor partners. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and collaborative design sessions to gather input and ensure buy-in. Workstream 2: Legacy System for Medical Registration Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements Document workflows, data requirements, dependencies and constraints Work with QA to test new functionality prior to its release Support enhancement intake by analyzing requests, sizing effort at a high level, and documenting impacts Key Qualifications Minimum 5-7-years of experience in business analysis in complex enterprise environments Experience working on software implementations, including both major COTS deployments and in-house custom-developed releases Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., process mapping, use cases, requirements traceability).

Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and technical analysis Experience working on software releases and operationalizing support processes Experience with Salesforce is an asset Experience working in waterfall, agile, and hybrid software implementation life cycles Proficient in MS Office, Teams, Visio, and business analysis tools Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse interested party groups. Understanding of change management principles and frameworks Assets Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset Experience working in healthcare, education, or regulated professional environments is an asset Business Analysis (e.g.

CBAP) Change Management Certification (e.g. Prosci) PMP, Agile (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe), Prince2, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt. Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
