Business Analyst

Associate - IT Recruitment Services @ Vaco | Agile Tech Recruiter | Helping to build Top notch Technical teams Highspring is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with strong data experience and advanced Power BI skills to support analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision‑making across enterprise initiatives. This role requires someone who can bridge business needs with technical execution, translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions, and guide stakeholders toward meaningful insights. Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear, detailed requirements for data, reporting, and dashboard solutions.

Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards, ensuring strong data modelling and visualization best practices. Collaborate with data engineers and technical teams to validate data models and ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct gap analyses, data validation, and support data quality improvement initiatives.

Develop documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps. Provide insights through ad-hoc reporting and deeper analytics to support decision‑making. Participate in UAT planning, test creation, execution, and validation of BI deliverables.

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Contribute to the evolution of analytics processes, governance, and continuous improvement. Requirements 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a strong data or analytics focus.

Advanced experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, report development). Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and ETL concepts. Experience writing or interpreting SQL queries.

Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving capability, and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data topics into business language. Experience working with cross‑functional teams in Agile or iterative environments.
