Business Analyst

CTI Logistics is seeking a Business Analyst, based in West Perth.

CTI Logistics is a WA based national transport and logistics company, with operations around Australia. Job Overview

Based at our West Perth head office the Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of information systems across multiple departments and companies. The role involves the analysis, evaluation and refinement of processes and where processes do not exist the implementation of them.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Evaluation of business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas of improvement as well as developing and implementing solutions.
2. Support of various systems and the timely resolution of issues.
3. Implementation of EDI.
4. Providing coaching/training to users and teammates.
5. Staying up to date with the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems.
6. Performing requirements analysis.
7. Liaising with external vendors where required to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
8. Maintain the current levels of documentation whilst participating in ongoing continuous improvement activities.
9. Understand information security risk, act in accordance with CTI IT policies including information management and security policies and report any actual or suspected security weaknesses or incidents.

Key Criteria

1. A degree in business or equivalent relevant field.
2. Strong understanding of Information Technology systems and processes.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
5. Great attention to detail.
6. Organizational skills.

Experience in the following would be highly regarded:

Warehouse Management System experience.
