Job Description
BMO - Business Analyst (Financial/Banking) Role: Business Analyst (Senior) Location: Chicago preferred (open to remote) - onsite 2x a week Duration: 24 Months+ extension/conversion Structure: W2 contract (no C2C or H1 sponsor) Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: 2 rounds Compensation: $105,000 - $135,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Equipment ect. *Must have previous Business Analyst experience working within banking or financial institutions* Must Haves 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting complex enterprise initiatives 3+ years of experience within banking or financial services organizations Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) Proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and system workflows Ability to facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and design sessions Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical direction Nice to Haves Experience with lending systems, lending platforms, or lending-focused organizations Background in commercial lending, retail lending, credit, loan origination, or loan servicing Experience working with core banking systems and downstream integrations Data analysis experience (SQL, data validation, reporting, dashboards) Exposure to regulatory, risk, compliance, or audit-driven initiatives in banking Prior experience working with large enterprise banks or financial institutions Ability to support process re-engineering and optimization efforts Day to Day Partner with BMO business and technology stakeholders to gather and refine requirements Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, and system interactions Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing Agile ceremonies Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps and proactively drive resolution Provide ongoing stakeholder communication and status updates Contribute to continuous improvement across banking and lending-related processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
