What you’ll do: Leading the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation and preparation of calculations and drawings. Preparing technical reports following technical analysis, modelling, and design calculations. Preparing proposals, bid and contract documentation.
Monitoring, controlling and reporting project status internally and externally. Aiding in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation. Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
Does this sound like you? Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA. 5+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
Committed team player and highly self-motivated. Related experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset. This position will require occasional travel.
