Brand Communications Manager
Raasta Studios
Job Description
Role Overview
We are hiring a Brand Communications Manager for two different growing educational institutions in Hyderabad.
This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating the institution’s internal and external communication across all key touchpoints. The person will work closely with the institution’s leadership team and Raasta Studios to ensure that the brand communication is clear, consistent, timely, and well-executed across design, video, content, campaigns, events, student stories, admissions communication, and internal communication.
This is a hands-on coordination and ownership role. This role isn't about designing or editing videos. You'll need to understand creative and communication requirements, create clear briefs, coordinate with stakeholders, follow up with execution teams, review outputs, and ensure every communication reflects the institution’s larger brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and coordinate all brand and communication requirements for the institution
• Work closely with the Managing Director/leadership team to understand communication priorities
• Coordinate with departments, faculty, admissions teams, students, and internal stakeholders to gather inputs
• Convert internal requirements into clear briefs for design, video, content, social media, and campaign execution
• Work with Raasta Studios and other creative partners to ensure timely and high-quality communication output
• Maintain consistency across internal and external communication
• Support campaigns related to admissions, student life, faculty stories, placements, events, achievements, institutional milestones, and brand-building initiatives
• Identify stories from within the campus that can be converted into strong communication assets
• Review creative outputs and ensure alignment with the institution’s tone, message, and brand direction
• Track communication calendars, campaign timelines, approvals, and deliverables
• Ensure smooth coordination between the institution and external creative teams
• Bring structure, clarity, and discipline to the institution’s communication process
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5-6 years of experience in brand, communications, marketing, content, digital marketing, PR, agency account management, or creative coordination
• Strong understanding of brand communication, content, social media, design, and video workflows
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders without losing clarity
• Good writing and briefing skills
• Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Ability to work directly with senior leadership
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving institutional environment
• Interest in education, student stories, institution-building, and long-term brand building
• Prior experience in education, edtech, agency, PR, content, or digital marketing is preferred
This Role Is Not For Someone Who
• Only wants to manage social media posting
• Cannot handle multiple stakeholders
• Needs constant supervision
• Cannot write or structure a clear brief
• Does not understand the difference between activity and communication
• Is uncomfortable working with leadership teams and creative partners
Why This Role Matters
Educational institutions today need more than visibility. They need clarity, consistency, storytelling, and trust-building across every communication touchpoint.
- This role will help build that communication system from within the institution, while working alongside strategic and creative partners.
