Descripción del trabajo Overview JD Logistics, the logistics arm of JD, is a technology-driven supply chain solutions provider. We deliver end-to-end logistics solutions across warehousing, line-haul, last-mile delivery, bulky goods, cold chain, and cross-border operations, aiming for speed, reliability, and operational excellence. Context of the Position As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing core infrastructure in the Spanish market.
This greenfield deployment requires founding leadership to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution. This position is designed for an accomplished last-mile logistics leader who combines hands-on depot management with the strategic capability to scale and oversee a multi-station regional delivery network. Launch, stabilize, and optimize the last-mile delivery network across the Madrid region, ensuring exceptional On-Time Delivery (OTD) and customer satisfaction metrics. 1 while orchestrating deployment and performance management of two additional last-mile stations as the regional footprint expands.
Performance Targets 1, managing sorting, route allocation, and dispatch to achieve target delivery success rates from day one. Network Expansion Governance: Oversee commissioning of the remaining two regional stations, onboard leadership teams, and standardize performance across all three nodes. Build and manage a reliable, flexible network of local delivery service providers, independent contractors, and couriers, balancing cost-per-delivery with strict service level agreements (SLAs).
Data-Driven Service Excellence: Monitor and optimize regional delivery metrics (e.g., First-Time Delivery Rate, customer complaint resolution, scanning compliance) using data insights. Proven track record of launching or managing high-volume delivery stations/depots from scratch within a tier-1 e-commerce or express parcel network (e.g., Ability to switch between micro-level depot execution (drivers, sorting floor) and macro-level regional management (multi-site KPIs, vendor relations). Professional fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
