Block Foreman - Apartments & or Duplexes

Location

West Dublin, Ireland - On Site position

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the construction of apartment blocks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety regulations and quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Ensure proper use of materials and equipment, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering a flawless final product.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Relevant certification or degree in construction management or related field preferred.
