Primary Care Nurse (Bank) – HMP Hewell, Redditch About the Role Join our Primary Care team as a Primary Care Nurse, delivering high‑quality care with a strong focus on substance misuse. Opportunities are available for prescribing and health assessment courses. Location HMP Hewell – Category B prison, Redditch.

Hours Shift times: 07:00‑17:00 or 07:00‑16:30. Salary Bank position with an hourly rate of £23.83. Key Responsibilities Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and conduct reception screening. Deliver nurse‑led clinics to your patient group, supported by a multidisciplinary team. Provide outstanding evidence‑based care, seeking and acting on patient feedback to make care personalised.

Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference. Forge strong links with partners and stakeholders to inspire excellence. Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care, and continuous quality improvement.

Share knowledge, skills, and expertise to ensure safe care and build multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications Registered nurse (Adult) – NMC. Evidence of continued professional development.

Understanding of the complexities of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working. A non‑judgemental and compassionate approach. Excellent communication skills.
