Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Web Developer responsible for managing the communication between the server and the users. Your responsibility will be to develop the server-side logic, support the definition and maintenance of the database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. A basic understanding of Frontend technologies is also necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
• Test and develop software for web applications
• Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set
• Good knowledge of web-based applications
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture
• Create database schemas that support business processes
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Backend Web Developer.
• College Degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar is preferred but not required.
• Experience with PHP 8 or another backend language.
• Lumen/Laravel Framework is a plus.
• PHPUnit Testing is a plus.
• MariaDB or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of Frontend technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Git (GitLab is a plus).
• Scrum is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while achieving goals.
• Ability to maintain a positive mindset in a fast-paced environment.
