**Role Description**

Are you a master of numbers and regulations? Do you enjoy helping clients navigate the complexities of Indian tax and finance? Our Technical and Assurance team is looking for a driven professional to join us. Join our dynamic Technical and Assurance team in Ahmedabad. As an Associate, you will be a key player in delivering comprehensive accounting, assurance, and taxation solutions. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring meticulous compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and supporting financial integrity through audit and assurance activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

Accounting & Assurance: * Manage the finalization of accounts for various clients, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. * Assist in the planning and execution of Statutory, Tax, and Internal Audits. * Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records.

Taxation (Direct & Indirect): * Handle end-to-end tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, TDS/TCS statements, and GST returns. * Conduct in-depth tax research and stay updated with amendments in tax legislation and judicial precedents. * Advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their financial position.

Litigation & Representation: * Assist senior team members in preparing submissions and collating documentation for tax assessments and appellate proceedings before tax authorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills: * Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA-Inter. * ( **Position open for Articled Assistants also** ) * 1-3 years of relevant experience in a CA firm is highly preferred. * Strong foundational knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct Tax (Income Tax Act), and Indirect Tax (GST). * Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Office Suite, and various tax computation/filing software. * Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
