Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager – Payroll Company: Jaipur Rugs Location: Jaipur Key Responsibilities Manage complete payroll processing for 1200–1500 employees on a monthly basis. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses, incentives, and deductions . Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF , and other applicable regulations.
Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and salary structures . Ensure compliance with central and state labor laws . Manage payroll audits and coordinate with internal/external auditors .
Generate payroll reports, MIS, reconciliation statements, and cost analysis reports . Stay updated and ensure implementation of applicable Government schemes, labor reforms, and compliance updates . Handle full & final settlements, gratuity, bonus payments, and leave encashments .
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll-related matters. Resolve employee queries related to salary and statutory deductions efficiently. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRMS systems .
Excellent understanding of statutory compliances and labor laws . Awareness of Government schemes such as PF, ESI, gratuity, maternity benefits, wage code updates, etc. High level of accuracy and attention to detail .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills . Ability to handle confidential information with integrity . Good communication and interpersonal skills .
Dynamic personality with ability to manage high-volume payroll operations . Experience & Qualification 5–8+ years of experience in payroll management. Experience handling payroll for 1200–1500 employees is mandatory .
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / HR or related field. Additional certification in Payroll / Labor Laws will be an advantage.
