Job Summary :


The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of campus electrical and utility infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted services and safe working conditions. The role includes managing HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, HVAC equipment, chillers, and associated facilities to maintain operational excellence across the campus.


  • Operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgears, VCBs, RMUs, MCCs, PCCs, and distribution panels.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical substations, transformers, and associated power distribution networks.
  • Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all electrical equipment.
  • Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets, AMF panels, synchronization panels, and fuel management systems.
  • Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, ventilation systems, and associated controls.
  • Ensure uninterrupted operation of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, optimizing performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
  • Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems to ensure continuous power availability for critical campus infrastructure and business operations.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and condition monitoring of electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate with AMC vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and statutory compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and EHS guidelines.
  • Monitor power consumption and support implementation of energy conservation initiatives.
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, technical reports, and utility performance data.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical and utility equipment.
  • Respond effectively to emergency breakdowns and power failures to minimize operational downtime.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares and support inventory management activities.
