Position: Assistant Manager – IT & Digital Learning Solutions Department Information Technology (IT) Reporting To Manager – IT / Head – IT Location (Corporate Office Location) Position Overview The Assistant Manager – IT & Digital Learning Solutions will be responsible for managing and driving the effective adoption, implementation, training, and operational support of digital platforms and IT infrastructure across the organization. The role requires a blend of technical IT infrastructure expertise and educational technology enablement skills to support academic and administrative excellence. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in Microsoft ecosystem tools, digital collaboration platforms, interactive classroom technologies, EdTech applications, and enterprise IT systems management.

Key Responsibilities 1. Microsoft Ecosystem Management Drive organization-wide adoption and effective utilization of Microsoft 365 tools including: Microsoft Teams Microsoft OneDrive Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Forms Microsoft Power Automate Support user onboarding, account management, licensing coordination, and training initiatives. Monitor platform usage and recommend strategies to improve digital collaboration and productivity.

Assist in implementing governance, security, and best practices for Microsoft platforms. 2. Digital Learning & EdTech Enablement Manage and support digital learning tools and classroom technologies. Coordinate implementation and training for EdTech platforms, LMS solutions, and digital content tools.

Drive effective usage of: Canva Interactive Panels / Smart Classroom Solutions Assessment and classroom engagement tools Digital content creation applications Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers and staff on digital tools and classroom technology integration. Evaluate emerging EdTech solutions and recommend improvements aligned with institutional goals. 3. IT Infrastructure Management Support management of IT infrastructure including: LAN/WAN networks Wi-Fi infrastructure Servers and storage systems Endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, tablets) Printers and AV systems Interactive panels and conferencing devices Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services. Work with vendors and OEMs for support, procurement, warranty, and AMC management. Assist in cybersecurity implementation, endpoint protection, and backup monitoring. 4.

User Support & Operations Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for academic and administrative users. Handle incident management, issue resolution, and escalation tracking. Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, user guides, and inventory records.

Support IT audits, compliance checks, and policy implementation. 5. Project & Coordination Responsibilities Participate in IT and digital transformation projects. Coordinate with school leadership, academic teams, vendors, and support partners.

Track project timelines, deployments, and adoption metrics. Prepare MIS reports and usage analytics for management review. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration tools.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with interactive classroom technologies and AV systems. Experience with LMS and EdTech platforms.

Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices and endpoint management. Knowledge of IT asset management and vendor coordination. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong training and user engagement capabilities. Problem-solving and analytical mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Documentation and reporting skills. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Electronics or related field. Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.

Additional certifications in networking or cloud technologies will be an advantage. Experience 4–8 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or digital learning enablement. Experience in the education/school sector preferred.

Preferred Profile Experience working in K-12 schools or educational institutions. Familiarity with smart classrooms and digital pedagogy tools. Ability to train educators and non-technical users effectively.
