AI Test Automation Engineer

Job Title: AI Test Automation Engineer Employment Type: FTE / Subcontracting Experience: 10–12 Years We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on AI Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in modern automation engineering, AI-assisted development, and autonomous engineering workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Playwright automation, TypeScript development, AI-powered engineering tools, AI agents, and intelligent automation frameworks within enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript Migrate Selenium automation scripts to Playwright using AI-assisted approaches Build automated UI, API, integration, and end-to-end test suites across distributed systems Implement AI-assisted engineering and testing workflows using AI agents and autonomous development tools Integrate AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor AI into engineering workflows Design and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations Drive autonomous engineering workflows including intelligent debugging, automation maintenance, code reviews, refactoring, documentation generation, and CI/CD optimization Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to improve software quality and engineering productivity Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing frameworks Mentor teams on AI-driven software engineering and intelligent automation practices Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript Experience with API Testing and Integration Validation Strong understanding of distributed systems and application architecture Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as: Claude Code OpenAI Codex GitHub Copilot Cursor AI Mandatory AI Skills: AI Agents MCP (Model Context Protocol) Integrations Autonomous Engineering Workflows AI-driven SDLC Automation Agentic AI Concepts Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and clean coding principles Experience implementing AI-enabled developer productivity solutions Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills If you are passionate about AI-driven engineering transformation and modern intelligent automation practices, we would love to hear from you.
