Accounts & Administration Officer (Permanent Part-Time)

Luna Group Hospitality is a growing hospitality business committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences across our venues. We are seeking an experienced, organised, and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.
Working closely with our Bookkeeper and management team, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day finance and administration functions of the business. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to contribute across accounts, payroll administration, and general office support in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and record accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts payable, perform reconciliation checks, and process supplier credit notes.
Process and record accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices and processing customer credit notes.
Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and assist with collections when required.
Reconcile supplier statements, statements of account, and customer remittances.
Assist the Bookkeeper with maintaining accurate financial records and completing routine accounting tasks.
Set up new employees in Deputy and Xero.
Maintain employee and financial records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc accounts and office administration duties.
Work collaboratively with the Bookkeeper and management team to ensure the efficient operation of the finance function.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or a related qualification (preferred).
Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills.
Experience using Xero, Deputy, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while working collaboratively with the Bookkeeper and wider team.
