Accounts & Administration Officer (Permanent Part-Time)

Luna Group Hospitality is a growing hospitality business committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences across our venues. We are seeking an experienced, organised, and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

Working closely with our Bookkeeper and management team, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day finance and administration functions of the business. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to contribute across accounts, payroll administration, and general office support in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Monitor accounts payable, perform reconciliation checks, and process supplier credit notes.

  • Process and record accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices and processing customer credit notes.

  • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and assist with collections when required.

  • Reconcile supplier statements, statements of account, and customer remittances.

  • Assist the Bookkeeper with maintaining accurate financial records and completing routine accounting tasks.

  • Set up new employees in Deputy and Xero.

  • Maintain employee and financial records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc accounts and office administration duties.

  • Work collaboratively with the Bookkeeper and management team to ensure the efficient operation of the finance function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or a related qualification (preferred).

  • Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills.

  • Experience using Xero, Deputy, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Previous experience in an accounts and administration role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

  • A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while working collaboratively with the Bookkeeper and wider team.
