Are you an experienced Accounting and Tax professional looking to make a strategic impact in a multinational industrial environment?
We are seeking an Accounting & Tax Manager to lead our global Accounting and Tax function, at Sodecia Automotive International, ensuring excellence in financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax governance, and financial control across an international group of companies.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the financial integrity of the Group while driving standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across our global finance organization.
Your Mission
You will lead the Group's Accounting and Tax function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, and robust tax governance across all legal entities. You will oversee international tax matters, transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, financing structures, and corporate transactions while serving as the primary interface with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global Accounting and Tax function across multiple international entities.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and Group reporting.
- Manage statutory accounts, tax returns, regulatory filings, and corporate reporting obligations.
- Develop and maintain the Group's tax governance framework, including transfer pricing and international tax compliance.
- Drive tax optimization initiatives, incentives, grants, and tax recovery opportunities.
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations, and corporate transactions.
- Support financing activities, capital movements, dividends, investments, and restructuring projects.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and advisors.
- Promote robust internal controls, financial governance, and accounting best practices.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, process automation, and digitalization.
- Develop and mentor Accounting and Tax teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Certified Accountant (or equivalent professional certification).
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax.
- Proven experience in multinational and multicultural environments.
- Experience within the Automotive Industry is highly valued.
- Previous experience leading accounting and tax teams in an international organization.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of:
- IFRS
- Corporate Accounting
- Taxation
- Financial Reporting
- Good knowledge of Local GAAP requirements.
- Strong ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
