Accounting Analyst (Kirkland)

Job Title: Accounting Analyst Location: Kirkland, WA (Hybrid) Duration: 3 Months Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support core accounting operations including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (G/L), and financial reconciliations. This role will also support financial adjudication processes between pharmacy partners and hospital customers, ensuring compliance with GAAP . Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, reconciliations, and collections Assist in month-end close activities, including journal entries and supporting schedules Perform cash posting, invoicing, and collections for pharmacy partners Manage financial adjudication and payment processing for hospital customers Prepare and process account adjustments per company guidelines Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to improve accounting processes Evaluate and strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements Support external audit requirements and documentation Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers regarding financial transactions Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience (A/R, A/P, G/L, month-end close) Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with accounting/financial systems (ERP) Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy
