Job Summary

\n

The Freight Payables Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate freight cost data in SAP, ensuring correct freight rate setup, resolving invoice discrepancies, and supporting timely payments to freight vendors. This role works closely with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure pricing accuracy and smooth freight payment operations within a global, multi-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain freight rates for vendors in SAP as per existing agreements and contracts
\n
• Analyze freight invoices that are not posted due to missing information or pricing discrepancies
\n
• Correct Shipment Cost Documents (SCDs) in SAP to ensure accurate freight cost postings
\n
• Follow up with relevant departments to validate and ensure freight price accuracy in SAP
\n
• Handle exceptions in SAP related to freight payables and shipment costs
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to freight vendors
\n
• Support compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies
\n
• Maintain documentation and records related to freight rate changes and corrections
\n

Required Skills

• SAP S/4HANA (freight payables, shipment costs, or logistics-related modules)
\n
• MS Excel (data analysis, reconciliation, tracking)
\n
• SharePoint files for documentation and collaboration
\n
• Professional email communication and follow-ups

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

• Ability to work cross-functionally in a process-driven environment

Work Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in a multi-cultural or global business environment
\n
• Core hands-on experience working with SAP, preferably in logistics, freight payables, or supply chain finance roles
