About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountant seeking a supportive, collaborative environment with a purpose-driven team. You will play a key role in the smooth operation of the finance function, contributing to the success of the school community while developing your career in a values-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Daily bank reconciliations and payment processing
• Maintain integrity of the trial balance
• Support GST and FBT return preparation
• Assist with budget preparation and annual external audit
• Respond to finance-related enquiries from staff and manage parent account queries

What We’re Looking For

• Formal finance or accounting qualification (Diploma minimum)
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with banking platforms.
• Eligible for or hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

• 12.75% superannuation contributions
