Service Field Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a trade-qualified Field Service Technician to service and repair beverage equipment across customer sites throughout the Mackay region. Working autonomously, you will diagnose faults, complete preventative maintenance, and deliver high-quality customer service while ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably. This role is ideally suited to a qualified Electrician or Refrigeration Technician who enjoys hands-on work and autonomous field service activities

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment faults at customer sites
• Perform preventative maintenance and service activities
• Support a wide range of beverage dispensing and refrigeration equipment
• Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support
• Maintain accurate service records and reporting documentation
• Manage vehicle stock and parts inventory efficiently
• Follow safety procedures and proactively identify risks
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support on a rotating roster
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team initiatives

Skills and Experience Required

• Trade qualification in Electrical or Refrigeration
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience using field service technology and IT systems
• Full and valid Driver's Licence
• Experience with coffee machines or coffee service environments highly regarded
