Overview

Account Director, Group Business Development at Four Seasons identifies and converts new group business opportunities across Europe, expanding the company’s luxury portfolio. You build high-potential client relationships, manage a strategic pipeline, and collaborate across hotels to drive revenue and bookings. This role blends proactive prospecting with hands-on deal-making in a hospitality context focused on premium group events and meetings.

You’ll engage senior decision-makers at industry events and maintain precise CRM and market insights. The opportunity lets you shape Four Seasons’ group sales footprint in Europe while working in a hybrid London-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new European group business opportunities for the global Four Seasons portfolio
  • Build and manage a strategic pipeline of prospective clients across high-potential sectors
  • Conduct proactive outreach, discovery meetings and presentations to generate demand
  • Lead hotel prospecting initiatives across Europe, coordinating hotels, targets, communications and follow-up
  • Assist with qualification, proposals, site inspections, negotiations and conversions across the sales cycle
  • Generate qualified leads and definite bookings contributing to room-night and revenue goals
  • Develop emerging accounts and handover to Account Directors when growth criteria are met
  • Represent Four Seasons at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions
  • Maintain CRM records, sales activity reporting, pipeline forecasts and market intelligence
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in sales or business development, preferably in luxury hospitality or group sales
  • Proven track record in building pipelines and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of the European group sales, meetings and events landscape
  • Excellent prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to prioritise and convert high-value opportunities
  • Highly organized with pipeline management, forecasting and follow-through skills
  • Experience across multiple properties, regions or global organizations is desirable
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and sales intelligence platforms
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to engage senior decision-makers
  • Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and internationally
