Commercial Manager (Civil)

Job Description Our Civil business is seeking a Commercial Manager to support commercial activity across the discipline. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure programmes for clients including national and regional transport bodies and leading contractors. Key Responsibilities Supporting sustainable work winning, including input to bids, pricing and commercial strategy Reviewing, managing and negotiating contracts throughout the project lifecycle Providing commercial support during project delivery, ensuring effective contract management and performance Providing risk and commercial advice during bids and delivery to support decision‑making and performance Ensuring appropriate governance is in place across opportunities and live projects Proactively managing change, risk and opportunity to protect and enhance project outcomes Ensuring activities align with internal policies and external client requirements Contributing to continuous improvement and wider commercial team initiatives Required Qualifications Experience in a similar commercial role within infrastructure project environments A solid working knowledge of NEC forms of contract (NEC3/4) and contract administration across the project lifecycle Good commercial awareness, with the ability to support effective commercial decision‑making Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams in complex project environments Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, stakeholders and project teams A degree (or equivalent commercial experience) in a relevant discipline; membership of a professional body is welcomed but not essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
