Administrative Specialist Temple University's School of Podiatry is searching for an Administrative Specialist. Position Summary Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs in the School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM), the Administrative Specialist provides academic, administrative, clerical and facilities related support services to TUSPM's Office of Educational Affairs and to the basic sciences curriculum and instruction, including faculty members of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, in an accurate, timely and courteous manner.

Duties include: preparing data and reports, arranging for remediation, peer counseling, special academic accommodation and other services, initiating and processing student requests for leave of absence (LOA) or withdrawal, coordinating student eligibility for graduation awards, preparing and disseminating the academic calendar, course and materials, exams and other duties as required by the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs. Required Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree or higher preferred; two years experience in an academic and/or health care setting preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills And Abilities Must be organized, self‑directed, detail oriented, able to work independently, communicate clearly and effectively, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Must have a customer service orientation, project management skills and the ability to interact with professionalism and tact under stress. Must be proficient with applications such as Microsoft Office and be able to adapt to new technology.
