Role Description This is a full-time Commercial Manager role based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site and work-from-home flexibility.

The Commercial Manager will oversee commercial operations across industrial solutions and international trading activities, including pricing, margin management, and deal structuring. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing commercial strategies, preparing business plans, and supporting market entry and growth initiatives in key regions. The role will manage customer and supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and ensure effective contract management and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

The Commercial Manager will collaborate closely with sales, procurement, finance, logistics, and technical teams to optimize bids, manage risk, forecast revenue, and support long-term strategic partnerships. Qualifications Strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills to lead negotiations, structure agreements, and manage risk across industrial and trading activities. Proven Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to develop market analyses, financial models, forecasts, and data-driven commercial strategies.

Demonstrated Team Management experience, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and support a collaborative, performance-driven culture. Experience in industrial equipment, power solutions, or international commodities trading (steel, metals, or related sectors) is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders across cultures and regions.

Solid understanding of international trade, pricing, and supply chain concepts; familiarity with Incoterms and export/import processes is an asset. Proficiency in business and productivity tools (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM/ERP systems) to support reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
