Manufacturing Engineer Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Engineer for its Winnipeg, Manitoba office. The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, providing engineering support for manufacturing build processes such as Composite Layup and Assembly. Position Responsibilities Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as‑built configurations. Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies. Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs and provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and technologies to meet cost and schedule targets.
Develop integrated work statements and sequencing events to support delivery commitments. Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Investigate and resolve significant manufacturing‑related issues affecting performance, cost or schedule. Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment. Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a relevant field of Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace) upon hire. Eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or a Professional Engineer (P.
Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM). Legally able to work in Canada. No risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
Eligibility to handle U.S. export‑controlled data. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience in production planning.
Knowledge of composite and aerospace manufacturing. Additional Information Position is 100% onsite in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 1st shift. Locally hired position in Canada; not an expatriate assignment.
Salary base pay range: Associate (level 2) – $86,000 – $96,000 CAD; Experienced (level 3) – $102,000 – $112,000 CAD. Security clearance not required. Visa sponsorship not available.
