This opportunity can be based in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte, South Florida โ Ft Lauderdale/Sunrise, Southfield Michigan, Las Vegas, Irvine or Pittsburgh and follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who understands the employee benefits landscape and enjoys helping organizations solve complex challenges related to healthcare, employee benefits, financial wellbeing, and workforce strategy.
As a member of the Health & Benefits team, you will leverage industry-leading resources, market intelligence, and consulting expertise to develop new business relationships and deliver innovative solutions to mid-market and enterprise organizations. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Identify, prospect, and engage organizations with approximately 1,000โ5,000 employees.
Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, HR leaders, Benefits Directors, and key decision-makers. Conduct consultative sales meetings, presentations, and discovery discussions to uncover client needs. Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that clearly communicate value and business impact.
Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation, contract execution, and successful close. Partner with internal subject matter experts to deliver customized health and benefits solutions. Maintain and expand a robust network through industry associations, conferences, and professional events.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging client needs to identify new growth opportunities. Drive client retention, relationship expansion, and cross-functional business development initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in a consultative sales environment. Experience selling to organizations with approximately 1,000โ5,000 employees. Experience within employee benefits, health & benefits consulting, insurance brokerage, HR consulting, or related industries.
Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior business leaders and C-suite stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated success developing and managing complex sales opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications Life & Health Insurance License. Existing network within the employee benefits, HR, healthcare, or consulting sectors. Experience selling advisory, consulting, brokerage, or professional services solutions.
Strong understanding of employee benefits strategy, healthcare trends, and workforce solutions.
