As a Relationship Manager II within PNC's Community Development Banking organization, you will be based in Washington, D.C. Job Profile PNC’s Community Development Banking is a team dedicated to improving low‑to‑moderate income neighborhoods and the quality of life for low- and moderate‑income people. We focus on meeting community needs through community development loans, investments, financial education, and other technical expertise.
In this position, through extensive outreach in lower income communities you will originate community development loans and investments while inspiring service partners to participate. PNC provides nontraditional capital for high‑impact development projects and reinvestment into local communities. Preferred Experience Includes Familiarity with sustainable loan principles Real Estate Lending Tax Credit Financing Commercial Lending Previous Relationship Management experience Formal Bank Credit Training preferred Adaptable self‑starter with a book of business and/or network of Centers of Influence (COI) relationships to generate loans and investments Ability to travel and participate in after‑hours events such as conferences, panels, roundtables, and community outreach events Job Description Coordinate relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share with relevant sales goals.
Works with clients having moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs, typically under moderate supervision. Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being, increasing engagement and loyalty.
Manage an effective network of internal and external relationships—including community or industry relationships—to acquire new clients or expand existing ones and enhance the client experience. Present the full range of PNC’s products and services and leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities. Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk for more complex credit requests by utilizing knowledge of advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Education Bachelor’s Certification No required certification(s) License No required license(s) Pay Transparency Base Salary: $109,200.00 – $202,800.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
