Job Description

Job Role : Senior Manager, Real Estate Governance Duration : 12 Months of contract with high chance of extension (Need to go 3 days in week onsite) Location : Toronto, ON 5โ€“7 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Governance, or Controls Monitoring functions. Support Corporate Real Estate business by identifying, documenting, assessing, and monitoring operational and compliance risks. Perform control assessments, control testing, and control effectiveness reviews to ensure a strong risk and control environment.

Assist with internal and external audit activities, including evidence collection, issue tracking, remediation validation, and audit support. Design, evaluate, and enhance risk and control methodologies, frameworks, and governance processes. Document risks, controls, findings, action plans, and compliance requirements in accordance with organizational standards.

Collaborate with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Corporate Real Estate stakeholders to address complex business and regulatory matters. Utilize GRC tools such as Archer (preferred) for risk, control, and compliance management activities. Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.

Highly organized problem solver with advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience preparing governance, risk, and compliance reports.
