Territory Manager – Medical Capital Equipment Outline: This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly regarded brand within the medical devices industry. Concentrate on selling surgical and capital equipment into the NHS and private sector hospitals. Speak with specialist departments such as Neuro, Spinal and other areas such as General Surgery. Primary objectives: sales growth, maintenance of profit margins and improving market share across the area.
Utilise active selling strategies and key knowledge gained from product training. Drive the business in a competitive market, focusing on company core values while maintaining a good market share. Use Clinical Specialist and trials to win new business, converting business from competitors.
Full initial training will be provided with ongoing career development. Package Basic salary depending on experience – up to £45k Good commission scheme Company car (hybrid) Pension scheme 25 days annual leave plus public holidays The Ideal Person Hold a BSc or equivalent in a human‑based science. Minimum of 1 year experience (ideally more) within medical device sales, med‑tech, or medical capital equipment.
Experience selling into the NHS and private sector is important. Associate medical sales rep with the above experience who is looking to take a step‑up will be strongly considered. Outgoing personality and excellent people skills are vital; meeting and engaging with diverse groups of people with a range of clinical skills.
Know your way around the surgical environment and understand best practices within that theatre setting. Residency in the Glasgow, Edinburgh or surrounding areas along the M8 corridor (or willingness to relocate at own expense). Full UK driving licence.
