Job Title: IT Program Manager Location: Edmonton, AB (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 3 Years About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple technology projects while working closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams. The successful candidate will drive program execution, support organizational transformation initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate multiple projects within a large digital transformation program. Develop program plans, project charters, schedules, budgets, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies. Support digital transformation, agile delivery, and organizational change initiatives. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status reporting to leadership teams.
Develop executive-level presentations, briefings, and project updates. Ensure alignment with organizational goals, enterprise architecture, and project management standards. Drive continuous improvement and support change management activities across the program.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Proven experience managing large-scale IT programs and complex technology initiatives. Strong background in project and program management methodologies. Experience leading digital transformation and organizational change initiatives.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Experience with project governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning. Strong communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within Agile and traditional project delivery environments. Preferred Skills Experience supporting public sector, government, or regulatory organizations. Experience with enterprise modernization and digital service delivery initiatives.
