As Security Operations Manager , you’ll be responsible for leading the Security function at SkyCity Hamilton, ensuring high-quality, compliant and customer-focused security services across a 24/7 operation.

Key responsibilities include: Leading, developing and supporting a team of Security leaders and team members across all shifts Implementing SkyCity’s Security strategies, operating plans and compliance programmes Managing security responses to incidents, emergencies and investigations Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, Host Responsibility and AML requirements Managing the Security operating budget and identifying opportunities for efficiencies Management of team rosters This role reports to the Head of Support Services and plays a key role in protecting people, assets and SkyCity’s reputation. You’re a confident and inclusive leader with experience managing security operations in a complex, regulated environment. You’ll bring: Proven experience leading Security teams, ideally within a large or highly regulated organisation, including management of rosters Strong operational leadership skills, including coaching, development and performance management Experience in emergency response planning, incident management and investigations Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and first responder requirements The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators and emergency services A current Certificate of Approval (COA), or the ability to obtain one, and the flexibility to work across a 24/7 operation Your leadership style is collaborative, calm under pressure and focused on creating a safe and inclusive culture.
