Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting firm, is seeking an Architecture Technical Analyst to support a rapid SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online intranet migration and stabilization initiative for our client. The Architecture Technical Analyst will support technical discovery, migration assessment, SharePoint Online planning, configuration analysis, permissions review, metadata implementation, search configuration, testing, and technical remediation activities. This role requires strong technical analysis experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, enterprise intranet, or digital workplace environments.

The ideal candidate brings demonstrated experience supporting legacy-to-modern platform migrations, working with technical teams and architects, and helping ensure that SharePoint Online solutions align with security, governance, operational, and tenant-level requirements. Responsibilities: Support technical discovery and assessment of the existing SharePoint 2016 intranet environment. Analyze current-state site structures, content inventory, permissions, links, metadata, search, technical dependencies, and migration considerations.

Support SharePoint Online architecture planning, hub and site model design, navigation, templates, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and governance recommendations. Work with architects, SharePoint developers, Microsoft 365 platform teams, IMIT resources, and business stakeholders. Support migration planning, implementation planning, migration wave tracking, issue analysis, technical remediation, and deployment readiness.

Assist with configuration and validation of SharePoint Online capabilities, migration tools, automation, and approved solution patterns. Support testing, quality assurance, defect tracking, issue resolution, launch readiness, and post-launch stabilization. Document technical findings, decisions, risks, dependencies, configurations, and operational support considerations.

Support knowledge transfer and transition documentation for long-term sustainment. Ensure technical recommendations align with Microsoft 365 tenant constraints, governance, security, privacy, and operational requirements. Requirements: 4+ years of technical analysis, architecture analysis, systems analysis, or SharePoint/Microsoft 365 technical experience.

Experience supporting SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, intranet, digital workplace, or enterprise content platform initiatives. Experience with SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migrations or comparable legacy-to-modern platform migrations. Experience analyzing site structures, permissions, metadata, navigation, search, links, content inventories, and technical dependencies.

Experience supporting technical documentation, configuration analysis, testing, issue tracking, and operational readiness. Strong analytical, communication, documentation, stakeholder engagement, troubleshooting, and coordination skills. Experience working with architects, developers, platform teams, business stakeholders, and operational teams.

Healthcare, public sector, or complex enterprise experience is preferred. Experience working within shared Microsoft 365 tenant or enterprise governance environments is an asset.
