Business Analyst

Client: Consulting/Banking Location: Hybrid, Toronto Duration: 12 months, renewable Contract Rate: $60/hr Incorp Skills/ Experience Required: Familiarity with Traceability Matrix and Risk Impact Analysis Ability to steer initiative with multiple stakeholders Translate business needs into system requirements using BRDs, SRS, FSDs, ensuring they are complete, concise, testable, and audit-compliant Strong knowledge of data analysis, data lineage, data quality, and source-to-target mapping for regulatory and AML use cases Experience with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, with a track record of leading high-risk, cross-functional, strategic initiatives Proficiency in using SharePoint for document collaboration, workflow automation, and stakeholder communication across financial regulatory and AML initiatives Skilled in stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and facilitating sign-off on deliverables for strategic and compliance-driven projects Experience collaborating with SMEs to document information in relatable terms for all levels of ingestion Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
