Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) Location: 100% Remote Eligible. The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Development (M&A) team and will support all development and growth efforts, including acquisitions, joint venture de novos, and divestitures. The position is primarily remote with the option to work out of the North Bethesda, MD office.
Responsibilities Build complex Excel valuation models for potential acquisitions and divestitures Evaluate deals through discounted cash flow analyses and metrics such as IRR, EBITDA multiples, etc. Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures Manage due diligence process, including leading physical site visits, coordinating with sellers, collecting data, and ensuring all areas of the diligence process undergo appropriate review Create presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, board of directors, etc. Work closely with Transaction Directors and legal teams in the negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from a top undergraduate program 2-4 years of transaction‑oriented analytical experience; investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development experience preferred Significant direct transaction experience required Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced deal environment Self‑starter and problem solver who can think and work independently Strong communicator and relationship builder with various stakeholders in a given transaction Compensation Salary range: $70,000–$110,000 per year.
