PURPOSE OF ROLE: The HR Manager, UA India is responsible for leading day-to-day HR operations for Under Armour Global Services India Private Limited and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of Implementation Partner-managed HR services across the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with the Site Leader and HR Business Partner to keep key stakeholders informed, drive local requirements, and ensure alignment to Under Armour standards and India statutory obligations. It is the unbiased voice of UA and is responsible for applying HR policies, procedures, and programs in India.

They support employees and guide the escalation, redirection or resolution of HR related questions and requests appropriately, coordinating with our partner and UA centers of excellence as needed. They are also responsible for leading employee relations support to effectively and consistently deal with complaints, investigations, and performance issues to promote positive employee relations and an inclusive workplace. Reporting Structure: You will report directly to a manager employed by Under Armour Global Services Pvt.

Ltd. in India. YOUR IMPACT (Job Responsibilities): Lead day-to-day HR operations for UA India, ensuring Implementation Partner (ANSR) delivers hire-to- retire services and SLAs (including payroll administration, employee file management, case tracking, and routine teammate inquiries), and that HR systems/data processes support site operations (e.g., HRIS workflows and data transfers), driving issue resolution through clear escalation paths. Partner with the Site Leader and HR Business Partner to provide regular site updates and oversee HR operations reporting/governance (HR operations, teammate relations trends, compliance status, recruiting dashboards, HR Ops milestones, vendor readiness), ensuring risks/issues are surfaced early and actions are tracked to closure.

Manage India statutory and compliance requirements in partnership with Implementation Partner and vendors (including labour compliance and POSH program execution) and act as a local interface for government/labour authorities and other local entities as needed, ensuring documentation, renewals, and audit readiness. Support hiring and onboarding operations for UA India with Talent Acquisition/Implementation Partner (e.g., background verification, offers, onboarding workflows), ensuring operational readiness and a strong candidate and new hire experience. Support execution and local adoption of the UA India Teammate Handbook and country-specific policies, and develop, implement, and audit local HR policies/programs/procedures against legislation and best practices, recommending improvements and reinforcing adoption through Implementation Partner- delivered processes.

Serve as the site-facing HR point of contact, guiding escalation/redirection/resolution of HR requests with empathy and consistency, and partnering with the UA HRBP and Site Leader to triage teammate relations/employee relations matters (including complaints, investigations, performance issues, and corrective action) with appropriate documentation and support from Implementation Partner and UA partners. Architect and embed a future-focused people and culture strategy for UAI by translating Under Armours values into clear leadership behaviors, people practices, and employee experiences that drive engagement, inclusion, agility, and innovation across the GCC. Actively partner with leaders to build a strong cultural foundation that supports scale, performance, and long-term organizational effectiveness.

Build and operationalize a differentiated employee value proposition (EVP) for UAI by aligning culture, career growth, rewards, and employee experience with evolving business needs. Partner with Talent Acquisition to shape a compelling employer brand and workforce strategy that attracts, engages, and retains high-impact talent within the GCC ecosystem. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience OR typically 12 years of relevant work experience without degree Bachelors degree in HR or related field preferred. 8+ years of HR-related experience, with min. 3 years in a management role.

Industry-specific experience in retail or service is preferred. Substantial generalist experience in all functional areas - Employee Relations, Employment Law, Staffing, Compensation, Organizational and Educational development. Strong understanding of local labor laws and hiring practices in India.

WORKPLACE LOCATION: Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our (enter location) office.
