Department: Human Resources Location: Cocoma Digital HQ – Andheri West, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time (On-site) Shift: Variable Shift Experience Required: 3-6 years About Cocoma Digital & Studios Cocoma Digital & Studios is a fast-growing creative and marketing powerhouse managing multiple brands and sister companies. Our digital wing specialises in YouTube growth strategy, social media marketing, management, performance-driven content development, and creator collaborations. Our studios wing offers comprehensive post-production solutions for films, web series, TV, and digital shows, along with localisation and adaptation services for international content.

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Manager to oversee daily HR operations and support our growing team at Cocoma Digital. This role requires hands-on execution across recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and experienced in managing people in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & talent Acquisition Manage end-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, interviews, documentation, and onboarding. Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower needs and hiring priorities. Build a strong talent pipeline for creative, production, and digital roles.

HR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records, HR documentation, attendance, and leaves on Google Suite/HRMS. Manage monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with Finance for timely payouts. Ensure statutory compliance — PF, ESIC, gratuity, shops & establishment norms, and labor law requirements.

Prepare HR reports, MIS, and analytics for management review. Employee Relations & Engagement Handle employee queries, grievances, and workplace concerns professionally. Conduct induction, orientation, and training coordination for new joiners.

Plan and execute engagement initiatives, celebrations, townhalls, and team-building activities. Support performance review cycles, confirmations, appraisals, and probation evaluations. Policies, Culture & Organization Development Help create, update, and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and handbooks.

Ensure smooth communication of HR guidelines across teams. Uphold Cocoma’s culture, promote professionalism, and ensure a positive workplace environment. Exit Management Manage resignations, notice periods, handovers, clearances, and FnF coordination.

Conduct exit interviews and prepare reports for leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, or employee engagement (range depends on Manager or Assistant Manager level). Strong working knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality. Experience in creative, agency, media, digital, or production environments preferred.

Language & Communication Proficiency Languages: English (Required), Hindi (Preferred) Communication: Must be able to draft professional communication, conduct meetings/interviews, and coordinate across teams. Tools & Technical Proficiency Google Suite (Advanced) HRMS / ATS tools (preferred) Basic understanding of payroll and compliance processes Comfortable with digital documentation and reporting A Day at Cocoma Digital – HR Manager Your day begins with reviewing hiring updates, employee queries, and HR tasks. Midday includes interviews, documentation updates, and coordination with department heads.

Afternoons are focused on employee engagement planning, compliance checks, attendance tracking, and supporting leadership on HR initiatives. You help maintain a steady workflow, positive environment, and strong HR foundation across the company.
