Commercial Property Manager

Portfolio: Retail & Office Assets | Northern Virginia Our client, a growing third-party commercial real estate management firm, is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to support a mixed portfolio of retail and office properties throughout the Northern Virginia market, primarily spanning Tysons Corner, Alexandria, and Arlington. This opportunity is open due to continued company growth and offers strong long-term career progression, including a clear path toward future Senior Property Manager responsibilities. The selected individual will partner directly with multiple ownership groups while overseeing the day-to-day operational and financial performance of approximately 6–8 commercial assets.

Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of retail and office properties across Northern Virginia Partner directly with multiple ownership groups regarding property performance, budgets, capital projects, and operational initiatives Conduct regular site visits and property inspections to ensure asset quality, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency Manage tenant relations, vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, and service contracts Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and operating expense management Support lease administration, tenant improvements, and ongoing property initiatives Supervise and mentor one direct report while collaborating closely with internal leadership and property teams Ensure compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and ownership expectations Qualifications Previous commercial property management experience within office, retail, or mixed-use portfolios Strong understanding of property operations, tenant relations, budgeting, and vendor management Experience working within third-party property management environments preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities across several assets and ownership groups Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Comfortable with a hands-on environment requiring regular travel throughout the portfolio Additional Information Fully onsite role based in the Tysons Corner, VA area Regular site visits throughout Alexandria and Arlington are required Opportunity for long-term growth into a Senior Property Manager-level position Collaborative and growth-oriented team environment Disclaimer: This job description is intended to outline the general nature and responsibilities of the position and may be subject to change based on business needs and company requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
