Rush University Medical Center, located in downtown Chicago, is inviting applications for the position of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Obstetrics. Work‑Life Schedule Shift: 6 PM – 6 AM Schedule: Monday – Sunday Number of ORs: 3; L&D: 15 No call requirement Key Responsibilities Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans. Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with the anesthesiologist.
Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia‑related complications. Provide post‑anesthesia care and pain management.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Position Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
Current Illinois CRNA license. Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Current IL RN/APN license.
CPR and ACLS certification. Benefits Sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 for full‑time positions. Competitive base pay with regular performance‑based raises. 457(b) plan and additional qualified retirement savings options.

Fertility benefit of $50,000. Paid time‑off: 208 hours per year for full‑time CRNAs plus 7 recognized holidays; prorated for part‑time.
Annual continuing education allowance: $2,000 per year, with additional $1,500 every three years for license maintenance and one week off per year for seminars or professional meetings. Other benefits such as weekly grand rounds and precepting credits for CEU. Pay Range $385,000 – $485,000 per year.
