Springboot Engineer

About Position: We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to build and scale high-quality backend services. The ideal candidate will have solid experience designing RESTful APIs, integrating with modern front-end applications, and deploying services in cloud-native environments using modern CI/CD and containerisation practices. Role: Springboot Engineer Location: Banglore/Hyderabad Experience: 5 to 9 years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: 5–7 years of professional backend experience, with at least 3 years building production Spring Boot services.

Strong core Java (Java 17+ preferred): collections, concurrency, streams, generics, JVM fundamentals. Deep working knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA. Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs and authoring OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

Practical understanding of the BFF pattern and how it differs from a generic API gateway or shared microservice. Experience integrating with an Angular SPA — CORS, auth flows, session/cookie strategies, error contracts. Expertise You'll Bring: CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, DevOps) and containerization with Docker.

Comfortable with Git workflows, code reviews, and trunk-based or GitFlow development. Cloud experience on Azure (App Service, AKS, Key Vault, API Management). Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) for deployment, basic Helm familiarity.

Messaging/streaming: Kafka. Caching: Redis. API security depth: OAuth 2.1, PKCE, refresh-token rotation, mTLS.

Exposure to contract-first development Familiarity with the domain (insurance / financial services / regulated industry) is a plus.
