Elevate medical imaging technology as a Signal Processing & Algorithms Engineer with ZEISS in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Focus on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) algorithms and cross-functional collaboration. At ZEISS Meditec, you will be part of our innovative ETP R&D hub.
This engineer role targets candidates with strong experience in signal processing, particularly within OCT and medical imaging. You will develop algorithms to enhance image quality while managing interdisciplinary projects for optimal results. Key Responsibilities: โข Optimize algorithms for high-resolution 2D and 3D imaging โข Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams on project goals โข Develop analysis pipelines for OCT signal processing โข Create technical documentation to support project phases โข Assist in verification and validation of designs Requirements: โข Degree in software engineering, physics, or related field โข Minimum five years of signal processing experience โข Proficiency in C++, CUDA, Python/MATLAB โข Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities โข Basic German language skills are a plus Harness your expertise in optics and collaboration to advance medical technology at ZEISS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
