Job Description Role / Job Title: Investment Counsellor Department: Wealth Management - Sales Location: Chennai , Hyderabad, Delhi , Mumbai , Bangalore Key Roles & Responsibilities A. Investment & Portfolio Management β’ Review and analyze clients' existing investment portfolios to ensure alignment with risk profile, investment horizon, and changing market conditions. β’ Drive sustainable AUM growth through structured advisory, portfolio activation, and deepening of existing client relationships. β’ Support cross-sell and up-sell of approved wealth and investment products while ensuring suitability and long-term value creation. β’ Identify dormant or under-invested client portfolios and work with Relationship Managers to improve engagement and investment penetration. B. RM & Branch Enablement β’ Partner closely with Branch RMs, PBG RMs, VRMs, and branch teams to strengthen investment conversations and client engagement. β’ Support RMs in client acquisition, relationship deepening, and wallet-share enhancement through robust investment solutioning. β’ Participate in joint client meetings, investment clinics, and branch-level initiatives to drive wealth business outcomes. β’ Act as the primary investment advisory support for frontline teams within the allocated geography or portfolio. Product & Market Expertise β’ Maintain strong understanding of the wealth product suite including Mutual Funds, LAS, PMS, AIFs, Fixed Income, Insurance, and Alternate Investments (as applicable). β’ Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments. β’ Translate investment research and market insights into actionable, client-level recommendations. E. Customer Experience & Relationship Management β’ Enhance overall client experience by enabling informed, timely, and consistent investment engagement. β’ Support resolution of client queries related to portfolio performance, investment products, and execution. β’ Work with Relationship Managers to strengthen client retention and long-term relationships. MIS & Performance Discipline β’ Maintain accurate records of client interactions, portfolio reviews, and investment recommendations. β’ Track and monitor key business parameters such as AUM movement, product mix, and advisory quality metrics. β’ Support management reporting and review forums. Education & Certifications β’ Post-Graduation: Any (MBA / Finance preferred) β’ Mandatory / Preferred Certifications: o AMFI o NISM (as applicable) o CFP / CFA. Thanks
