Job Description – Engineer / Senior Engineer – Exterior Systems & Lighting (VAVE) Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Mahindra City, Chennai Notice Period: Immediate to Maximum 15 Days (Official Notice Period Only) We are hiring experienced Automotive Design Engineers with strong expertise in Exterior Systems and Lighting domain for a leading automotive project based in Chennai. Position Engineer / Senior Engineer – Exterior Systems & Lighting (VAVE) Preferred Candidate Location Pan India candidates can be considered if willing to relocate to Chennai immediately. Preferred Industry Background Candidates must have strong experience working with Automotive OEMs or reputed Tier-1 automotive companies such as: Mahindra & Mahindra Tata Motors Hyundai Motor Company Other reputed Automotive OEMs / Tier-1 suppliers Candidates with direct OEM exposure and lead-level/project ownership experience will be highly preferred.

Drive VAVE initiatives across Exterior Systems and Lighting components. Support strategic engineering decisions through analytical and creative problem-solving. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical Engineering preferred Experience 5–8 years in Automotive Engineering Design Strong exposure to: Exterior Systems Automotive Lighting VAVE / Benchmarking Cost Engineering Experience in OEM environment preferred Required Skills Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong organizational and multitasking capability Ability to provide practical “real-world” engineering assessments Expertise in Microsoft Office: Excel PowerPoint Word Familiarity with VAVE methodologies and tools Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates from Automotive OEM background preferred Strong project ownership experience Experience handling cost optimization initiatives Exposure to benchmarking and teardown studies Immediate joiners highly preferred
