JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER / ADMINISTRATOR
Location: New York, NY (In-Office)
Compensation: $65,000โ$75,000 + Bonus

EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by a client to fill this position. Our client is a boutique real estate investment, development, and management firm based in New York City, specializing in multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use properties. For over two decades, our client's team has focused on repositioning and redeveloping underperforming assets, bringing deep market knowledge, disciplined underwriting, and hands-on execution to every project.
It's a small, close-knit team where employees get broad exposure across acquisitions, construction, and asset management.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Junior Project Manager/Admin to support their development and management teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their real estate career to gain hands-on exposure to construction, project coordination, and office administration in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Compensation
$65,000โ$75,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus discretionary bonus.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with day-to-day coordination of construction and renovation projects, including scheduling, tracking milestones, and following up on outstanding items
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining project documentation (contracts, permits, RFIs, change orders, invoices)
- Coordinate communication between contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal team members
- Track project budgets and timelines, flagging discrepancies or delays to management
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for active and completed projects
- Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections
- Handle general administrative tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office systems
- Support the team with data entry and record-keeping in project management and accounting software
- Assist with tenant, vendor, or contractor inquiries as needed
- Take meeting notes and help ensure action items are tracked and completed
- Perform other ad hoc administrative and project support duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- 0โ2 years of experience in real estate, construction, project coordination, or office administration (internships count)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management or accounting software a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, "no task too small" attitude and eagerness to learn
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
