Service (TaPaaS) agency with approx. 350 people globally, we're not just advising clients - we're

building the technology that transforms how businesses connect with their buyers.

As part of our expansion, our media team in the US is growing fast and we need super stars to

help us grow and deliver great media plans, and best-in-class service for our clients

Role:

The Media Account Manager plays a central role in turning client objectives into effective paid

media campaigns and ensuring those campaigns are delivered successfully from brief through

to reporting and optimization.

You will support the day-to-day of client relationships and media activity, working with the

wider team to meet client marketing and business objectives - translating these into clear media

recommendations and direction for the activation teams.

This is both a client-facing and hands-on media role. You’ll be expected to understand the detail

of the campaigns you manage (direct buys) while also seeing the bigger picture, helping to

coordinate activity being managed by our activation teams. You’ll have the opportunity to

interrogate briefs, identify opportunities to improve performance, and ultimately help clients

make better marketing decisions.

You’ll also play an important role in developing more junior members of the team and creating a

collaborative, proactive account culture.

Skills:

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong knowledge of paid media and an understanding of how different channels can

work together within an integrated media plan.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign data into insights and actionable

recommendations.

• The ability to understand a client's marketing objectives and connect media

recommendations and performance back to their wider business goals.

• Confidence managing day-to-day client communications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present

recommendations clearly and credibly.

• Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate

multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines.

• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to campaign challenges and client needs.

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the financial considerations involved in

managing media accounts.

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining sight of broader client objectives.

• Curiosity about the changing media and B2B marketing landscape and an interest in

bringing new ideas to clients.

• The confidence to constructively challenge a brief or existing approach when there is a

better solution.

• A collaborative style and the ability to support and develop junior colleagues (Account

Executives and Senior Account Executives).

• Adaptability, initiative and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving

environment.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients and building trusted relationships through

responsive, knowledgeable and proactive account management.

• Developing a strong understanding of clients' businesses, audiences, products,

competitors and marketing objectives.

• Interrogating client briefs, asking the right questions and helping translate business and

marketing objectives into effective media recommendations.

• Leading the development of multi-channel media plans, working with specialist teams

and senior colleagues where appropriate.

• Evaluating media opportunities and recommending the channels, partners, audiences

and approaches most appropriate to the brief.

• Clearly communicating media recommendations and the rationale behind them to

clients and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinating campaign activation across internal teams, clients, media partners and

other stakeholders to ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time.

• Maintaining a clear view of campaign delivery, budget and performance and proactively

addressing issues before they affect client outcomes.

• Identifying and driving optimization opportunities based on campaign data, audience

insights and wider client objectives.

• Ensuring reporting goes beyond campaign metrics to explain what performance means,

what has been learned and what action should be taken next.

• Contributing insight and recommendations to client reviews, QBRs and wider strategic

conversations.

• Working with analytics and technology teams to resolve reporting challenges and

improve the quality and usefulness of campaign measurement.

• Managing the day-to-day financial processes for assigned accounts, including budgets,

forecasts, bookings and billing, in partnership with the wider team.

• Managing client and media partner expectations and handling day-to-day issues

confidently, escalating appropriately when needed.

• Delegating effectively to Account Executives and other junior team members, helping

them prioritize their work and supporting their development.
