We’re looking for a mechanically minded Field Service Technician (Electrician) to join our high-performing Doors team in Sydney, NSW. Whether you have direct doors experience or come from a related hands‑on background, we would love to hear from you.

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE’s automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low‑rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing?

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates.
  • Attend callouts and breakdowns.
  • Carry out installation and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region, delivering high-quality service and support.

What are we looking for?

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
  • Experience in doors or industrial maintenance is highly regarded.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Receptive to feedback, eager to learn and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Full driver’s licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
