Job Description
About the Role:
We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract opportunity with a food manufacturing business in Gympie. Working full-time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month end close, journals and accruals
- Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- P&L reporting and variance analysis
- Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
- Fixed asset accounting
- Audit, BAS and compliance support
- Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis
You will ideally have:
- Strong Financial Accounting experience
- Solid month end and balance sheet capability
- Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
- Confidence working across finance and operational teams
- Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
- CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded
On Offer:
- Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
- Immediate start
- Full-time contract through to Christmas
- Fully on site in Gympie
- Open to more senior candidates who have proven ability to be hands on
